Hold your wedding ceremony and reception surrounded by hundreds of years of botanical history in the world renowned Royal Botanical Gardens, Kew, with a choice of stunning wedding venues for you to celebrate your special day.
Cambridge Cottage is a beautiful listed building within the grounds of Kew. The Drawing Room is licensed for civil ceremonies of up to 80 guests, with the adjoining Gallery space able to host seated dining for the same number. As well as the Drawing Room indoor option, you can also have your guests seated outdoor in your own private garden whilst your ceremony takes place. Invite up to 150 guests for the after dinner party, where your guests can enjoy the light and spacious interior, or step through the French doors into the beautiful English Cottage style gardens.
On the 5th May 2018, Kew's breath-taking Temperate House - the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world - reopened after a five-year closure. The entire frame-work of the building has been painstakingly repaired, and its 15,000 panes of glass replaced, along with its intricate ironwork and expansive paved flooring. The result is a glistening cathedral housing 10,000 plants, making it one of the most unique venues in London.
The impressive glasshouse can host large evening dinners and standing receptions of up to 300 guests amongst 10,000 species of rare and endangered plants. With venue hire starting from 14,000 + VAT for the evening you can impress your guests with endless history within this completely unique space.
For larger guest parties, our three 200 guest capacity venues can be hired as part of a multiple-venue package, with individual venues for the civil ceremony, drinks reception and dinner dance. The Nash Conservatory is licensed for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships for up to 200 guests, and is a beautiful 19th Century glasshouse that provides a versatile event space for both daytime and evening weddings.
For a truly unique event experience, enjoy a canape reception in the Princess of Wales Conservatory, famed for its rare orchids and Chinese Water Dragons.
And finally, the beautifully-restored Orangery is ideal for larger evening receptions and can accommodate up to 200 people for dining in style. Guests can wander outside onto the large terrace to admire spectacular vistas, with lights illuminating the trees at night.
Whatever venue you choose, you will be assigned a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to work with you every step of the way, and you will also have contributed towards helping Kew to continue our valuable plant conservation and life-saving research work.
