Tenterden Town Hall
Tenterden Town Hall is a grand, eighteenth century grade II listed building which overlooks the charming, tree-lined High Street of the historic market town of Tenterden.
The Town Hall is the home of Tenterden Town Council, which has been active in the town from 1449 to the present day.
The peaceful, elegant Mayor's Parlour is the ideal space for a ceremony with up to 44 guests, while the much larger Assembly Room offers space for up to 140 guests, and also boasts a theatrical stage. Among the many impressive features of the Town Hall is its balcony, upon which guests may gather after the ceremony for drinks and photographs, and this is always very popular.
You can also hold a reception in the Assembly Room at the Town Hall, with space for 100 guests seated at tables, or 150 for a finger buffet. We have worked with many local catering companies, who always appreciate the size of the catering kitchen that adjoins the Assembly Room. Although the building is fully licenced, your caterer will need to supply a bar, if one is needed.
There is no parking at the Town Hall itself unfortunately, however it is in easy walking distance of a number of public car parks with ample spaces.
Tenterden has many hotels, as well as a lot of other wedding-related businesses which can help with your big day.
Please get in touch with us if you have any questions, and we will be only too happy to help.
